Break out the Rope Folks!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Yes ladies and gentlemen.
Saddam may soon be swinging in the wind!

Now again. I usually do not celebrate the death of another person.
But some people are just SPECIAL.
I wont be cracking any CORONAS or anything but I know there are many Iraqi's that will be PARTYING in the streets following this one.

Of course the Baathist issued a warning on killing him.
Like it matters at this point.

The revolution will NOT be Televised?

Today Chavisimo himself said that he will not renew the license of the 2nd largest TV station in Venezuela. Now let me get this right? Liberals adore this guy right? He is the SOCIALIST/MARXISTS new CHAMPION is he not? So they must be dancing for joy that he is stepping one step closer to totalitarianism! After all he is following in his Daddies foot step. The bearded Dictator himself Castro.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has said he will not renew the licence for the country's second largest TV channel which he says expires in March 2007.

In an address to troops, Mr Chavez said he would not tolerate media outlets working towards a coup against him.

Radio Caracas Television, which is aligned with the opposition, supported a strike against Mr Chavez in 2003.

But the TV's head said there must be some mistake as its licence was not up for renewal in the near future.

Now say Bush was to do this to EHHH I don't know. CNN. They are the Number 2 News Cable Station. The Liberals in this country would be in an absolute UPROAR! But yet a crap load of them will come to the defense of this damn psychopath.

Power of Attraction?

I found this video over at Pat Campbell's site.
And I found it rather interesting.
Its been something that I have thought about for years.
The power of the mind. The power of manifesting / shaping your own destiny so to speak.

Similar to say setting a goal for yourself and reaching for that goal.
But not just reaching. Believing you can make that goal a reality.
Say buying a house. Finding that special someone. Getting that promotion.
Not something silly like wanting to be a POP star at 40 or something. LOL.
I mean really looking a goal be it in the business world or in your own personal life. Looking at that goal in your mind and grasping it.
Not thinking of what can go wrong cause it will. But thinking of what can go right because it will.

Ever hear the saying "Misery needs company?"
Well its the same thing for negative thinking.
If you think of negative scenarios you will in your own mind manifest those negative scenarios. And Vice Versa.

There is supposed to be a second part to this video but the link on google doesn't work.

Still the first part is interesting.

Anyone else notice?

How quickly the internet is working today?

Telephone lines and Internet service went dead across much of Asia on Wednesday after two powerful earthquakes damaged undersea cables used by several countries to route calls and online traffic.

Repairing the cables could take weeks because crews have to pull them up and transfer them to a ship for repair, said Lin Jen-hung, vice general manager of Chunghwa Telecom Co., Taiwan's largest phone company.

I mean an earthquake is no laughing matter but MAN its really fast today. LOL.

I guess when about 1 billion people get off line that happens.

----------

On a serious note however. Luckily no Tsunami occurred.
Thank God.

Kerry trie to make up with the troops.

Problem is they don't give a damn about him!

Story on Michelle Malkins site.

Who would have thought that the soldiers were.....
Educated and able to read the news?
After all. According to Kerry if you don't do well in school you get stuck in the military in Iraq!

Yeah I missed a Christmas Post....

I'll make up for it here!

You need to see these in order.
LMFAO...

Nighmare in Bolivia.

Val over at www.babalublog.com has a great entry on the hell that Bolivia has become.
Through the eyes of a Cuban Refugee that left to of all places Bolivia!

Pipeline explosion kills at least 200

I will be honest here:

Stealing fuel from the country's pipelines is a common and many times deadly occurrence in Nigeria. In May, at least 150 people died when vandals tried to tap a petrol pipeline outside Lagos.

"People try to siphon fuel from a pipeline, and after that, maybe an hour, a couple hours after that -- someone lights a cigarette or a motorcycle engine backfires, and an explosion appears," CNN's Jeff Koinange explained.

These people should be getting this fuel for CHEAP if not damn near free!
These aren't people that in the position to be buying 3 dollar a tank gasoline.
They produce these riches in their soil so their should benefit greatly from its resources. IN SPADES!

That just isn't right that people need to siphon fuel off to survive!

Castro alive still? Really?

A Spanish surgeon who has just examined Cuban leader Fidel Castro said on Tuesday he is making a good recovery from intestinal surgery, does not have cancer, and could return to governing his country.

Wait a minute here.
I thought Cuban Doctors were like "the best in the world".
WTF do you need to fly in a Spanish Surgeon for?

"His physical activity is excellent, his intellectual activity intact, I'd say fantastic, he's recovering from his previous operation," Sabrido, head of surgery at Madrid's Gregorio Maranon public hospital, told a news conference after returning from Cuba.

His intellectual activity? I always just thought he was a malicious psychopathic bastard? So he is formulating thoughts properly too? I also didn't know that gastric surgery effects the brain? Hmmmm...

Bait and Switch?

Counting on the support of the new Democratic majority in Congress, Democratic lawmakers and their Republican allies are working on measures that could place millions of illegal immigrants on a more direct path to citizenship than would a bill that the Senate passed in the spring.

The lawmakers are considering abandoning a requirement in the Senate bill that would compel several million illegal immigrants to leave the United States before becoming eligible to apply for citizenship.

The lawmakers are also considering denying financing for 700 miles of fencing along the border with Mexico, a law championed by Republicans that passed with significant Democratic support.

I get it.
Things have died down a bit since the summer on the ILLEGAL immigration thing and now they are switching everything on us!
Son of a Bitch!

Its all about trying to get my vote.
Well guess what. You pass this next effort to let people that clearly broke the law become citizens and you will loose many votes.

But Mr. Flake described himself as optimistic, saying the elections had disabused many Republicans of the notion that opposing legalization and guest worker plans would win widespread support.

“That illusion is gone,” he said.

The percentage of Hispanics who voted for Republicans fell to 29 percent, from 44 percent in 2004, and some Republicans say passing immigration bills is a crucial part of the effort to win them back.

Mr. Flake warned that some Republicans might balk at proposals like broadening the number of illegal immigrants eligible for a less burdensome path to citizenship, making passage of bipartisan legislation potentially “politically more difficult.”

This shit spits in the face of every immigrant in this nation that came here legally and spent months years even awaiting their first visa and green card. Myself and my parents included.

Not to mention many are using false Identifications. Which by my last estimation is a FELONY! Let you or I get a false ID and work on it for a few years. See how long they throw us in jail for.

I already highlighted in a previous post how as SOON as the illegal immigrants were removed from their ILLEGAL jobs they had, AMERICAN CITIZENS were filling those jobs!

One small step Islam....

One Giant LEAP for Sharia Law being implemented in the US.

Speaking in Dearborn late Sunday night, the first Muslim elected to Congress told a cheering crowd of Muslims they should remain steadfast in their faith and push for justice.

"You can't back down. You can't chicken out. You can't be afraid. You got to have faith in Allah, and you've got to stand up and be a real Muslim," Detroit native Keith Ellison said to loud applause.

Many in the crowd replied "Allahu akbar" -- God is great.

Get used to that phrase boys and girls.
Something tells me we will be hearing it more often this coming year.

I thought Illegals were doing theJobs Americans didn't want?

Applicants line up to fill jobs left empty by Swift plant raid.

The line of applicants hoping to fill jobs vacated by undocumented workers taken away by immigration agents at the Swift & Co. meat-processing plant earlier this week was out the door Thursday.

This can't be right?
This is a slaughterhouse? Where exactly are these people coming from?
You mean there are AMERICAN CITIZENS that didn't have jobs in these cities that wanted them but couldn't get them? GET OUTA HERE? And at such a to quote Geraldo "horrible place to work that Americans simply wont work at"

Ohhh really?

Greg Bonifacio heard about the job openings on television and brought his passport, his Colorado driver's license, his Social Security card and even a color photograph of himself as a young Naval officer to prove his military service.

"I don't want to hassle with any identification problems because of my last name," said Bonifacio, a 59- year-old Thornton resident of Filipino heritage.

Sounds like he needed job bad.
And LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZEN at that!

Like many others who had mixed emotions about the raid, Maxine Hernandez said she was upset that families were torn apart, but believes illegal immigrants should not get work using fake documents.

No sweetie. They shouldn't be in the country at all!

"My whole family used to work there. My mom, my aunt, uncles," she said. "I guess it sort of runs in our blood."

The USED to work there?
I wonder if they were fired because an illegal would do it at less the wage?
Hmmm....

Trump to Rosie: You're SUED!

Trump Hits back hard on the ugly behemoth herself Rosie O'Donnell.

Earlier this afternoon Trump announced he is filing suit against the TV talk show host. "She says things that come to her mouth, she's not smart, she's crude, she's ignorant and to be honest I look forward to suing Rosie," he told our cameras. "I'm gonna sue her and I look forward to it. She's really very dangerous for the show."

You know I liked trump before.
But damn it. I really like him now.
The man plays no games when it comes to his name and his image.

Rosie has been known to spout off crap before.
Such as her "Ching, Chong, Ching" tirade a few weeks ago.
Where she "apologized"
And also prior to that calling "Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam".

She did no apologize for that!

So this latest tirade by her shouldn't SHOCK anyone.
She is known for this crap.
Only difference is this time. Someone is going to bite back a LOT harder then she can ever bark.

As Trump said "Rosie is a LOOSER"

Go Trump. Rip that fat bitch a new one!

The Berger man is BACK!!

Yes everyone favorite little thief is back in the news.
This time its an update on what exactly Berger did with those Archive documents he STOLE!

President Clinton's national security adviser removed classified documents from the National Archives, hid them under a construction trailer and later tried to find the trash collector to retrieve them, the agency's internal watchdog said Wednesday.

So let me get this right.

Before it was passed off as just "Ohh if you knew Sandy" said Clinton. "you would know that he does this kind of stuff all the time, forgetful about here he put things"

Well it seems like Berger knew EXACTLY what he was doing and where he was going with those classified documents.

Now for some damn reason this man isn't doing jail time for removing classified information from a gov't building. Ok so he has status being former National Security Adviser and all but to pass it off as a "brief stir in 2004" as the New York Times is saying is ridiculous.

I guess it is a brief stir if its something that may have implicated the Clinton administration in negligence prior to 9/11. You know seeing as Clinton was the king to all of the left. The man could do no wrong.

But if the Bush admin is wire tapping Al Qaueda here in the US. WELL OMFG that is front page headline news for weeks at a time. With the occasional reminder here and there!

PUUULEASE!

Father and Son story.

I just needed to put it on my blog.
This is what a real father should be.
To bad there are so many dead beat dads here in America.
Fathers that remove themselves from their kids.

I can only wish to be as good a dad as that.
But I will sure as heaven try!

I find this very very interesting.

None of the major news sights are even reporting this on their front pages.
You figure something like Iran now reporting they have Nuclear Power is major news?
Something that would effect the nation here in the US. But nope.
Not a single one is even having it on their sub section pages.
Not CNN. Not FOX. Not NY TIMES. No one is.

Hmmmmm.....

Don't know why?

Iran has gone Nuclear!

So once again the UN has done NOTHING to stop another Nuclear Power from rising.
All the security Council's threats of sanctions have gone RIGHT OUT THE WINDOW.
This shows once more that with no teeth a Speech is slurred.

They have hit a level that will now make them 100 times harder to not only talk to but also negotiate with. If there is such a thing to Iran. Negotiation seems to involve, them saying they will do something and the UN simply making a angry face.

Ahmadineajd: Iran now nuclear power

Iranian president: Our scienists have reached zenith, accessed nuclear fuel cycle

Iran is now a "nuclear power," its President, Mahmoud Ahamdinejad, delcared Wednesday, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency .

So now we are at a point where those on the left and some on the right even will probably will say that we should still talk to Iran and come to an agreement.

For those that think that is the right course to take with a Mad man in Ahamdinejad I give you this:

Appeasement is not a winning strategy. It never has been.
The next step will be the same one that India took and Pakistan as well.

A nuke. It is coming and liberals can deny it all they want. But it is going to happen. The funniest part is that we won't even know that they have one till they say they have one. Much like India and Pakistan. While bill was getting a blow job. Things were happening out there that frankly he dropped the ball on.
No surprise there.

Fightin in Gaza...

I am sure the fighting between Hammas and Fattah are somehow Israels fault.

Appesement similarities from WW2 and Today.

Saw this video on the CL forums and had to post it up.
The humor is there for effect but the similarities are obvious!

The Pursuit of Happyness

Stepping away from politics for a minute.
I saw this movie this weekend and have to say that Will Smith once again proves how versatile an actor he really is.
From his original Fresh Prince of Bel Air days to the action packed Bad Boys to the horrible Wild West. The man has proven that you don't have to stuck in one industry and stay there. Making the jump from Hip Hop to TV to the big screen. His story alone is worthy of a novel.

Will Smith has done some amazing movies and some not so great ones. With the great ones far out weighting the not so great ones.

This movie fits under the category of WONDERFUL!

The movie is of the short portion of the life of Chris Gardner. Coming from nothing to something through sheer will and determination. Something that many seem to forget is necessary in today's world to succeed.

The story is to me truly inspiring.
Its mostly revolved around what Chris and his son went through when his son was 5.
Think about that for a minute. In a world today where men seem to not even care about their kids this story of a MAN taking car of his son comes out. Truly AWESOME!

There are scenes in the movie that are symbolic I think.
Like the one of him just getting kicked out of his Motel and having to pretend with his son that Dinosaurs are all around him and they need to take shelter in a cave (subway bathroom).

The scene then shows Chris Gardner (Will Smith) holding back the doors of the Bathroom stall from someone pounding on the door while shielding his son from the noise of the pounding. Tears coming down Will's face in a truly symbolic scene. Such as life pounding away at their lives and Chris Gardner doing everything he can to hold that back from his son.

Most of the movie is Gardner running.
If its not running for his machine its running to get his son from day care.
Hence the Pursuit part.
The man is an inspiration.

Hopefully THE MOVIE and its main character receive more air time then 50 cent or any other rapper out there. No drug slanging or jail time for street cred. But sheer passion, determination and fatherhood. If more youths in the ghettos of America focused on these sorts of people our Ghettos wouldn't be looked at as Ghettos and more like just Neighborhoods.

A must see for everyone I think.

Will Smith should get an Oscar nod for his performance in this one.
And his son was simply ADORABLE! Smart kid. Great Little Will in the making for sure.

I think Leahy forgot something...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The incoming Democratic chairman of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee promised on Wednesday to combat what he denounced as President George W. Bush's war-time trampling of American rights.

"We have a duty to repair real damage done to our system of government over the last few years," Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont said in outlining his panel's agenda for the 110th, Democratic-led Congress, which is set to convene on January 4.

Can you say PROJECT ECHELON Mr Senator?

More info here

See the main difference is that Clinton didn't tell ANY of you what was going on. At least Bush had the courtesy to let you know of what was going on even going as far as briefing the senate intelligence committee. Which seeing as Reyes is the new incoming head of the committee will be lacking more intelligence then I thought was possible.

The man gets it!

What else can I say.
General Schissler gets it.

Air Force Brig. Gen. Mark O. Schissler said in an interview that the current strategy for fighting Islamists includes both military and ideological components that make it similar to the 40-year Cold War against communism.
"We're in a generational war. You can try and fight the enemy where they are and where they're attacking you, or prevent them and defend your own homeland," said Gen. Schissler, deputy director for the war on terrorism within the strategic plans office of the Pentagon's Joint Staff.
"But that's not enough to stop it. We've got to break the chain, and that's ... the ideology. We really need to show the errors in Islamist extremist thinking."

I have been saying this since like 04.
Americans want everything now. As in last week.
Everything need to be done like a pop tart. Instant. And many Americans simply do not grasp the threat. Its to out there for them. Lets face it many don't even know where to point to Iraq or Afghanistan on a map.

The current war on terrorism requires fighting with ideas. In the Cold War, "we didn't beat ...the communists by militarily taking them to the battlefield," he said. "We took them to the intellectual battlefield and beat them against their ideas, the ideology of communism."
One goal is to disrupt al Qaeda efforts to "radicalize" young people ages 19 to 25 through educational efforts. Another objective is to assist moderate Muslims who see extremism as unacceptable.

It is a war of ideas. Sad thing is that the radicalizing is taking place sooner then 19.
Just look the video. Don't take my word for it.
Listen to the kids words:

Ultimately, Muslim scholars, clerics and other religious and government leaders will have to "take a stand," albeit one that carries grave risks because of the extremists' harsh methods, Gen. Schissler said.

While there are some that have taken great risks to speak out against this radicalism.
Don't hold your breathe General.

Illiegal Immigrant Raids...Unions defend?

Now correct me if I am wrong here but were not Unions originally set up in the US to protect US CITIZENS JOBS from being moved over seas?

So now we have a situation here where that are raid on Illegal Immigrants working with false ID's (US CITIZENS ID'S) and the people that swoop in to save them is a UNION?

WTF?

The raids capped a 10-month investigation into an identity-theft scheme that may have hundreds of victims, both U.S. citizens and legal residents, officials said.

Authorities did not say how mnay people were arrested at the plants in Greeley; Grand Island, Neb.; Cactus, Texas; Hyrum, Utah; Marshalltown, Iowa; and Worthington, Minn.

The United Food and Commercial International Workers union said it would ask federal judges in all six states to halt the raids. Union spokeswoman Jill Cashen said attorneys were gathering details before filing the requests.

No charges had been filed against Swift. In a written statement, President and CEO Sam Rovit said the company has never knowingly hired illegal workers and does not condone the practice.

Immigration officials last month informed Swift that it would remove unauthorized workers on Dec. 4, but Swift asked a federal judge to prevent agents from conducting the raid, arguing it would cause "substantial and irreparable injury" to its business.

So ok... The raids were held off past Dec. 4th because of "substantial injury" to WHOM?
The union and their year end bonuses for Union Due's collections?
Give me a damn break. If anything the Union should also be slapped with a law suit.

"They are taking mothers and fathers and we're really concerned about the children," said the Rev. Clarence Sandoval of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Logan, Utah. "I'm getting calls from mothers saying they don't know where their husband was taken," he said.
Maybe they shouldn't have come into the country illegally and committed a FELONY.
If I were to steal someones Identity I would be thrown in jail with a court date on how long I will be serving.
Spare me the tears Reverend.
You are more concerned with the money you wont be collecting during next Sunday's sermon.

Why is is so damn hard for people to understand that all we want is for people to come here LEGALLY. Is that a concept too far out there for people?
Want to see what the US will be like if this continues? Look no further then California.

How sick is this?

I thought Islam was the religion of peace and happiness?
Yet they are literally indoctrinating their children with this thirst for jihad. Training an entire generation to hate without knowledge. Just to simply hate. Not teaching them anything about peace at all but all about hate.

How TOTALLY ridiculous is that!?

Yet you have people like jimmy carter saying that all the Palestinians want is peace?
And assholes like Bakers saying that we should negotiate with Iran and Syria and force Israel to give back the Golan Heights? WTF?

Somehow in the eyes of liberals, America and Israel are at fault for Muslims killing people in Somalia, Chechnya, India, Australia and Ethiopia!

What a bunch of twisted fucks!

UPS doesn't deliver to Israel?

WTF?

I was reading this on Debbie Schlussels page and frankly was shocked by this.

Last night, I called UPS to verify this, and, in fact it is true. Not only is it true, but UPS will not recognize even parts of Israel that are within the "Green Line," such as the Golan Heights. A man from UPS read me the following statement (which is not on the UPS website--perhaps they are too cowardly to acknowledge this online):

UPS service is provided to and from most addresses within Israel and the Palestine [sic] Authority area, except for Jewish settlements in the West Bank, a few remote areas in the Golan Hieghts, and the Southern Negev desert.

I asked the UPS employee if I could send a package to "Palestinian" areas of the West Bank. He said yes. I asked him if I could send a package to terrorist infested Ramallah. He said yes. I asked him if I could send a package to Arab areas in the Golan Heights. Again, the answer was "YES."

I asked the man why UPS would not deliver to Jewish areas of these regions. He responded, "for security reasons. It's dangerous there." A big, fat lie--the Jewish areas are the only safe areas in these regions. In the Palestinian areas, the UPS man might be tortured and/or beheaded and his "package" castrated without anesthetic, as is a traditional form of torture there.

WOW!
What a bunch of BULLSHIT!

This is just CLASSIC!

This is what we call in the online forum world being PWNED!

Aftermath of US cutiing and running is clear here!

MOGADISHU, Somalia (Reuters) -- Somalia's Islamist movement warned arch-foe Ethiopia on Tuesday to withdraw troops from the Horn of Africa nation within a week or face war.

The Islamists, who dominate most of the south, say Ethiopia has at least 30,000 troops in Somalia near the provincial town of Baidoa, where an internationally recognized interim government is based.

Ethiopia, the West and the United Nations back the government, but its power does not extend beyond that town.

"Starting today, if the Ethiopians don't leave our land within seven days, we will attack them and force them to leave our country," Islamist defense chief Sheikh Yusuf Mohamed Siad "Inda'ade" told reporters in Mogadishu.

Addis Ababa scoffed at the threat, while the United Nations urged the Islamists not to start a war that many have been fearing for months and that could spread across the region.

"I hope they will not be the beginners of this. They should avoid statements that inflame an already critical situation," U.N. envoy to Somalia, Francois Lonseny Fall, told Reuters.

The Islamists took Mogadishu and a swath of south Somalia in June, threatening the fragile authority of the interim government of President Abdullahi Yusuf.

Diplomats and witnesses say thousands of Ethiopian troops have crossed the border to protect Yusuf's government in and around Baidoa. But Addis Ababa only acknowledges sending several hundred armed military advisers.

Sounds like cutting and running worked out FABULOUS!

Intellegence Committee Chair without Intelligence?

This further highlights my points that the democratic party doesn't have a single CLUE on the threat that Islamic Extremists pose on the United States.

The question proved nettlesome for Rep. Silvestre Reyes of Texas, incoming Democratic chairman of the House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

"Predominantly -- probably Shi'ite," he said in a recent interview with Congressional Quarterly, a periodical that covers political and legislative issues in Congress.

Unfortunately for Reyes, the al Qaeda network led by Osama bin Laden is comprehensively Sunni and subscribes to a form of Sunni Islam known for not tolerating theological deviation.

But wait it gets better!

Asked to describe the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, Congressional Quarterly said Reyes responded: "Hezbollah. Uh, Hezbollah," and then said, "Why do you ask me these questions at five o'clock?"
I didn't know this information leaves your mind at 5 o'clock.
Maybe he didn't get the memo on Hezbollah?
You know that little faction of a tens of thousands militants that waged a war in the Middle East this past July with Israel. You know the group that prior to 5 o'clock was part of a proxy military of Iran. Those crazy Shi'tte's or is it Sunni? LOL....

Ok so lets just say that he is just a rookie Senator and didn't get briefed?

"As a member of the intelligence committee since before 9/11, I'm acutely aware of al Qaeda's desire to harm Americans. The intelligence committee will keep its eye on the ball and focus on the pressing security and intelligence issues facing us," Reyes said in the statement.
Ohh wait? So WTF were you doing during those Intel Briefings Mr. Reyes?
What did they all occur after 5 o'clock!

And these are the people we just entrusted the nations security to?
Lets not even get on the fact that Reyes used to be a border patrol agent.
Hmmmmm. How did that go again Mr. Reyes? 15-25 Million Illegal immigrants later?

Kirk Douglas on his 90th Birthday....

His message is simple for his 90th but it should ring true.

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- My name is Kirk Douglas. You may know me. If you don't ... Google me. I was a movie star and I'm Michael Douglas' dad, Catherine Zeta-Jones' father-in-law, and the grandparents of their two children. Today I celebrate my 90th birthday.

I have a message to convey to America's young people. A 90th birthday is special. In my case, this birthday is not only special but miraculous. I survived World War II, a helicopter crash, a stroke, and two new knees.

It's a tradition that when a "birthday boy" stands over his cake he makes a silent wish for his life and then blows out the candles. I have followed that tradition for 89 years but on my 90th birthday, I have decided to rebel. Instead of making a silent wish for myself, I want to make a LOUD wish for THE WORLD.

Let's face it: THE WORLD IS IN A MESS and you are inheriting it. Generation Y, you are on the cusp. You are the group facing many problems: abject poverty, global warming, genocide, AIDS, and suicide bombers to name a few. These problems exist, and the world is silent. We have done very little to solve these problems. Now, we leave it to you. You have to fix it because the situation is intolerable.

You need to rebel, to speak up, write, vote, and care about people and the world you live in. We live in the best country in the world. I know. My parents were Russian immigrants. America is a country where EVERYONE, regardless of race, creed, or age has a chance. I had that chance. You are the generation that is most impacted and the generation that can make a difference.

I love this country because I came from a life of poverty. I was able to work my way through college and go into acting, the field that I love. There is no guarantee in this country that you will be successful. But you always have a chance. Nothing should interfere with it. You have to make sure that nothing stands in the way.

When I blow out my candles -- 90! ... it will take a long time ... but I'll be thinking of you.

The message that goes unheard by millions is RIGHT ON!
There is opportunities in this country that other nations citizens can only dream of having and we squander it in this country. Sad indeed.

Instead of knowing out your elected officials about the world we consume our daily lives with crap. Like who was last years winner on American Idol. Heck I am sure there are people that can name the final 10 from the last 6 seasons. Sad indeed.

While its okay to indulge in these sorts of things, its more important not only for yourselves but for this nation to stay informed and realize that opportunities are out there for everyone regardless of your race or sex. Skip the excuses and make strides!

Spying on Diana???

Talk about having your priorities all screwed up.
Mean while back in the US Mohammad Attah was planning to run planes into buildings and Clinton has his people wire tapping Diana?
Riiiiiiiight.
And libs have a problem with the Bush tapping terror suspects?
Talk about a warped sense of reality!

Dennis Miller Gets it!

Why is it so damn hard for libs it understand this?

Problem Solved in Global Warming Debacle....

Kill all the cows!

Meet the world's top destroyer of the environment. It is not the car, or the plane,or even George Bush: it is the cow.

A United Nations report has identified the world's rapidly growing herds of cattle as the greatest threat to the climate, forests and wildlife. And they are blamed for a host of other environmental crimes, from acid rain to the introduction of alien species, from producing deserts to creating dead zones in the oceans, from poisoning rivers and drinking water to destroying coral reefs.

The 400-page report by the Food and Agricultural Organisation, entitled Livestock's Long Shadow, also surveys the damage done by sheep, chickens, pigs and goats. But in almost every case, the world's 1.5 billion cattle are most to blame. Livestock are responsible for 18 per cent of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming, more than cars, planes and all other forms of transport put together.

Prepare yourselves for the latest push by Vegans to start making for more vegetable eaters. And prepare yourself for PETA to start filling petitions for less cows to be mated for food! Ahhh the Irony. LOL...

Burning fuel to produce fertiliser to grow feed, to produce meat and to transport it - and clearing vegetation for grazing - produces 9 per cent of all emissions of carbon dioxide, the most common greenhouse gas. And their wind and manure emit more than one third of emissions of another, methane, which warms the world 20 times faster than carbon dioxide.

Livestock also produces more than 100 other polluting gases, including more than two-thirds of the world's emissions of ammonia, one of the main causes of acid rain.

Ranching, the report adds, is "the major driver of deforestation" worldwide, and overgrazing is turning a fifth of all pastures and ranges into desert.Cows also soak up vast amounts of water: it takes a staggering 990 litres of water to produce one litre of milk.

Wastes from feedlots and fertilisers used to grow their feed overnourish water, causing weeds to choke all other life. And the pesticides, antibiotics and hormones used to treat them get into drinking water and endanger human health.

The pollution washes down to the sea, killing coral reefs and creating "dead zones" devoid of life. One is up to 21,000sqkm, in the Gulf of Mexico, where much of the waste from US beef production is carried down the Mississippi.

The report concludes that, unless drastic changes are made, the massive damage done by livestock will more than double by 2050, as demand for meat increases.

So wait a minute.... This can't be right. You mean to tell me taht George Bush isn't involved in this somehow? You mean him and his cronies at Haliburton aren't involved? That is impossible.

It has to be somehow tied to KBR genetically engineering cattle to "fart" more often and raise Carbon Monoxide levels on the globe in an effort to force more people to use oil and manipulate a war with the Indian's in the middle east for their cattle loving ways. That way we can then turn the farts of the cows into Oil to line the pockets of those evil republicans. Yeah that's it!

Illegal aliens murder 12 daily in the US.

But that isn't possible. They only come here for work. Its not as thought they are doing it like on purpose or anything right?

A report by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Study found 20 percent of fatal accidents involve at least one driver who lacks a valid license. In California, another study showed that those who have never held a valid license are about five times more likely to be involved in a fatal road accident than licensed drivers.

Statistically, that makes them an even greater danger on the road than drivers whose licenses have been suspended or revoked – and nearly as dangerous as drunk drivers.

King also reports eight American children are victims of sexual abuse by illegal aliens every day – a total of 2,920 annually.

Based on a one-year in-depth study, Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute of Atlanta estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each. She analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.

As the number of illegal aliens in the U.S. increases, so does the number of American victims.

I mean come the hell on now America. Particularly you liberals!

Its not like this is the only incident. WND seems to be tracking every story that involved an illegal alien killing a us citizen.

Take this case for example of a US marine killed before Thanksgiving. Not in Iraq by an insurgent. But in the US by an illegal alien. Or as I like to call them pre-citizens.

The landscaper charged with vehicular homicide and drunken driving in a crash Thanksgiving night that killed a Marine on leave and his date is apparently in the country illegally and had received a Maryland driver's license by first obtaining one from North Carolina - a state whose loose requirements once made it a favorite for undocumented aliens seeking identification cards.

It is unclear how Eduardo Raul Morales-Soriano, 25, a Mexican citizen living in Laurel, came to the United States or whether the North Carolina license was his first, but anti-immigration activists said yesterday said that until North Carolina changed its licensing laws in August, the state was a magnet for immigration fraud.

Link can be found here.

When the hell will Americans wake the fuck up?

What is most surprising to me. Well not really.
Is that not CNN, NBC, NY TIMES, LA TIMES, etc etc are even carrying this story. I mean they will post of daily figures of a marine killed in Iraq but one here by an illegal? Well that is blasphemous!

Sting operation is a problem in UK?

So let me get this right. Undercover sting operations to get information on possible weapons selling with Iran is a problem with the liberals of the UK. Heck that doesnt sound too different from our very own ACLU and liberals here complaining about wire taps on terror suspects.

Undercover American agents are staging secret 'sting' operations in Britain against criminal and terrorist suspects they want to extradite to the US.

Comment: Beware: George Bush's secret agents can now arrrest us in our own country

In a recent operation, agents from America's Department of Homeland Security set up a suspect by posing as dealers wanting to illegally sell night-vision goggles for export to Iran.

The spies arranged a series of clandestine meetings in London hotels, which they secretly filmed as evidence. It is thought to be the first time American agents have been caught using such sting tactics in Britain.

I am convinced 100% that some people wont learn till the bullet or bomb penetrates their own skin. Till an attack physically involves them in some way will they then understand the true nature of the threat posed by radical islam.

Congrats to the terrorist...

Congratulations are in order for Al-Qaueda in Iraq. Congratulation to OBL. You won as well. Congrats to Iran 2 wins in 1 year. Israel vs Hezbullah and now this one. What else is there to say following this:

Democrats Push for Troop Cuts Within Months

WASHINGTON, Nov. 12 — Democratic leaders in the Senate vowed on Sunday to use their new Congressional majority to press for troop reductions in Iraq within a matter of months, stepping up pressure on the administration just as President Bush is to be interviewed by a bipartisan panel examining future strategy for the war.

The Democrats — the incoming majority leader, Senator Harry Reid of Nevada; the incoming Armed Services Committee chairman, Senator Carl Levin of Michigan; and the incoming Foreign Relations Committee chairman, Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware — said a phased redeployment of troops would be their top priority when the new Congress convenes in January, even before an investigation of the conduct of the war.

“We need to begin a phased redeployment of forces from Iraq in four to six months,” Mr. Levin said in an appearance on the ABC News program “This Week.” In a telephone interview later, Mr. Levin added, “The point of this is to signal to the Iraqis that the open-ended commitment is over and that they are going to have to solve their own problems.”

The White House signaled a willingness to listen to the Democrats’ proposals, with Joshua B. Bolten, the chief of staff, saying in two television appearances that the president was open to “fresh ideas” and a “fresh look.” But Mr. Bolten said he could not envision the White House signing on to a plan setting a timetable for the withdrawal of troops.

“You know, we’re willing to talk about anything,” he said on “This Week.” “I don’t think we’re going to be receptive to the notion there’s a fixed timetable at which we automatically pull out, because that could be a true disaster for the Iraqi people. But what we’ve always been prepared to do, and remain prepared to do, is indeed what Senators Levin and Biden were talking about, is put pressure on the Iraqi government to take over themselves.”

The spirited exchanges on the Sunday morning talk shows — a staple of weekend life for the political elite here, especially on the Sunday after an election that blew through Washington like a tornado — came at a delicate moment for the White House on Iraq. The bipartisan panel on strategy, led by James A. Baker III, the secretary of state under the first President Bush, and Lee Hamilton, a Democratic former congressman, will be at the White House on Monday to begin its final round of interviews.

The panel will meet separately with Mr. Bush and members of his foreign policy team, including the secretaries of state and defense, the director of the Central Intelligence Agency and the director of national intelligence, and will then interview Prime Minister Tony Blair of Britain by videoconference. On Tuesday, the group plans to meet with Democratic foreign policy leaders.

The panel is expected to make its recommendations by the end of the year, and Democrats said they did not intend to push a resolution for troop withdrawal until after the report was issued. But after Tuesday’s election, in which Republicans took what Mr. Bush has called “a thumping,” Democrats used their Sunday appearances to signal that they believed they had a mandate about Iraq and would seize on it.

You won!

For years I have been arguing with liberals about NOT wanting to do this.
We went to war. And we need to stay. You can go into a country shake the snakes nest and not want to finish taking care of the snakes. You only emolden the snakes. Again we did it in Somalia in the 90's and today we see the beginings of another win for OBL and his ilk.

All that is left is CONGRATS!

Reason # 21458 why I dont like California.

Students Ban Pledge of Allegiance

Student leaders at a California college have touched off a furor by banning the Pledge of Allegiance at their meetings, saying they see no reason to publicly swear loyalty to God and the U.S. government.

The move by Orange Coast College student trustees, the latest clash over patriotism and religion in American schools, has infuriated some of their classmates -- prompting one young woman to loudly recite the pledge in front of the board Wednesday night in defiance of the rule.

"America is the one thing I'm passionate about and I can't let them take that away from me," 18-year-old political science major Christine Zoldos told Reuters.

"The fact that they have enough power to ban one of the most valued traditions in America is just horrible," Zoldos said, adding she would attend every board meeting to salute the flag.

So now the ungrateful little bastards in Claifornia colleges want to spit on america some more.

Further reason to ceceede california from the US.
Dont believe in God huh?
Irony thy form has to be an Earthquake!

So tell me again who won the elections?

It was the terrori....err ... ummm... Democrats that won the 06 elections right?

Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed in a new audio tape Friday to be winning the war faster than expected in Iraq and said it had mobilized 12,000 fighters who had "vowed to die for God's sake."

The U.S. military, meanwhile, reported that three U.S. soldiers and a Marine were killed Thursday in Iraq, the U.S. military said, bringing the number of Americans who have died in the country so far this month to 25. At least 105 U.S. forces died in October, the fourth highest monthly toll of the war.

On the audio tape made available on militant Web sites, the al-Qaida in Iraq leader also welcomed the Republican electoral defeat that led to the departure of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld. He added that the group's fighters would not rest until they had blown up the White House.

"The al-Qaida army has 12,000 fighters in Iraq, and they have vowed to die for God's sake," a man who identified himself as Abu Hamza al- Muhajir said.

Al-Muhajir, also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, also urged the U.S. to stay in Iraq so his group would have more opportunities to kill American troops. "We haven't had enough of your blood yet," he told the U.S.

"We will not rest from our Jihad until we are under the olive trees of Rumieh and we have blown up the filthiest house _ which is called the White House," al-Muhajir said. It was not clear what Rumieh was referring to.

Al-Muhajir became the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq after Abu Musab al- Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. airstrike in June. The tape could not be independently verified.

"The American people have put their feet on the right path by ... realizing their president's betrayal in supporting Israel," the terror leader said. "So they voted for something reasonable in the last elections."

Describing President Bush as "the most stupid president" in U.S. history, al-Masri reached out to the Muslim world and said his group was winning the war in Iraq faster than expected due to U.S. policies.

Since the war started in March 2003, 2,845 members of the U.S. military have died, according to an Associated Press count.

The Iraqi army also said it captured the Egyptian leader of an al- Qaida cell in restive Anbar province.

Was it really? Hmmm...

Hamas leader hints he'll bow out

Soooooo.. If the west is this vast evil. Why cant Palestine function without its aide? Hmmmm..
America is looked at as soo evil by these liberal socilist freaks yet here it shows how much they NEED US!

GAZA CITY (CNN) -- Hamas leader and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniya suggested Friday that he would not head a proposed unity government if stepping aside would help to bring back Western aid.

Speaking to worshippers gathered for Friday prayers at a Gaza City mosque, Haniya said the West did not want him to be a part of the new administration and would not lift its embargo unless he is replaced as leader.

"[They have] one condition, that the siege will not be lifted unless the prime minister is changed," Haniya said, according to Reuters. "When the issue is like this, the siege on one hand, the prime minister on the another ... I prefer the siege be lifted and the suffering ended."

Election results

WOW! What else can you say. The Dems won. Republicans pissed off at the senate and the house voted against them or just didnt vote. Sending a message to the republicans to GET BACK TO WORKING FOR THEM. I think this was more of a disdain for republicans then it was for a search for solutions from deomcrats.

Lets be honest here, none of the democrats actually said anything worthy during their bids. It was mostly negative. Similar to the John Kerry campaign. Its been almost 48 hours now and still 52 hours left for Pelosi's little 100 hour speech.

My guess is that the democrats wont do ANYTHING about Iraq, at all. They wont change a damn thing knowing that if things dont get accomplished over there that they have an even better shot at the 2008 presidential campaigns.

So now we will see exactly how things will change.
It looks to me as though the Islamo Facists have won, Hezbullah will win again, alquaeda has won and the protection of this nation will fall flat. The reasons I say that is because the democrats have time and time again shown that they care NOT about protecting this nation but about opposing this president. Its laughable really.

I have been posting on forums far to long. Argued with libs from all corners. They STILL dont get it. Regardless of what facts you slam up their noses they still dont get it. So this time I will do things different. I will use this site to post my commentary more often and drop facts on here for the next 2 years documenting where these democrats are taking america.

Not bitter. Not at all. I am no republican. I am no democrat. I am a conservative, slightly more moderate then anything but a conservative none the less. But what I will do is document things on here for future resources. Much like I have done in my massive archive of information from 2004 but havent posted online.

Not mad.. Congrats to the democrats.
Lord help us all.

Is this really information that I needed to know?

AP * Report: X-Rays Don't Detect Explosives *

The report goes on to say how little is needed to make an explosion in an airplane.
And that its almost impossible to find traces of the explosive.
I dont know maybe Osama and his pals don't read the AP, or other news outlets.
Yeah RIGHT!

Is it just me or does it constantly seem like the Liberal News media is constantly undermining our every effort to stop terrorist attacks as well as conducting the search for acts prior to an occurence.

WTC Movie...

I saw this last night.
I must say that it was well done.
It didn't have the Oliver Stone Twist that I was expecting.
Much like the rest of his movies have had when they deal with real historical events.
There were a few touches conspiracy theories but nothing that really hurt the movie.
I think and my wife brought this up, that the one part that took away from the movie a bit was the amount of "known" actors in the movie.
I laughed a few times, there was some humor in it.
And I teared up a bit 3 times. I wont lie.
And I Hardly NEVER cry in a Movie.
I teared up in Crash with the little girl. Other then that I just don't tear.

I was and probably still am one of those people that say its too soon.
But I think people still need a reminder of what happened that day.
I was in the City when that happened. And never in my life had I seen NEW YORKERS or just PEOPLE in general be soooo somber, so respectful, and never had I seen the city where even the taxi drivers didn't want to honk their horns in the months after 9/11.

I want that to continue throughout our country.
Too bad we just don't see that kind of camaraderie in the city anymore or in our country. A togetherness against one common enemy. Instead we focus on our president, and come up with stupid conspiracy theories of all sorts to somehow put more weight on some maniacs side because we cant come to grips with the reality that it was SOOO EASY to attack us because we as a NATION are not together. We bicker left and right wing crap and don't focus on what we should be focusing on. And that is the survival of our nation.

In Miami they were dancing in the streets.
According to reports they were even DANCING in the HOMES in Cuba.

While I am not Cuban I know of the horrors that this man has brought about to the Cuban people all under the gise of "revolution". Had it been in the Domincan Republic that this was happening like with Trujillo I am sure my Latino Brothers and Sisters from Cuba would stand with me.

What does this all mean?

One small step for Democracy in Cuba
One Giant Leap for Cubans everywhere.

So now the focus is us?

So let me get this all straight. Hezbullah kidnaps 2 US soldiers.
Gets pounded on by Israel in response.
And SOMEHOW wants to turn the attention on the US.

Now they are basically threatening the US with terror and of course there will still be many LIBS living here in america that say we deserve it. Or that Israel deserves it. Riiiight.

Liberalism HAS to be a mental disorder.
Right up there with Religious Muslim Extremists.

The internet buzz

The internet is all abuzz about this Israeli/Hamas/Hezbollah war.

There are some that are just regurgitate constant BS of revolutionary propaganda while sitting at a computer screen whacking off. Talking of Puerto Rico and how it should be free of so called "US imperialism" yet living in the imperialist's nation.

Not to mention constantly Filling themselves with one sided garbage from obviously slanted left wing sites, and views only to further strengthen the thought that there are more like minded individuals in the world.

When presented with facts from any angle they will deny it. They wont accept it, they will call it unfounded sources, they will throw everything they possibly can at it. Just because their views aren't represented by another. Then they go off searching for one that does have their view and tout it as gospel.

This definitely shouldn't be about someone's ego nor should it be about people trying to push their own left wing agendas on others. Information is subjective. You either decide to believe facts presented or you continue to look for someone that will post something along your lines of thinking. Just to make yourself feel better.

The world spoke out against Israel in the 80's when it bomb Iraq. Now it is hailed.
The world spoke out against Northern Lebanon being occupied so Israel concedes the land, only to have itself being attacked from that same land not 5 years later.

It returns areas in Gaza, it gives areas in the west bank and still called a bully.

it doesn't have a right to defend itself at all it seems.
It seems to me that those that constantly profess about Israel being so evil would love it if they were off the planet. If Israelis were again moved from one country to another.
That is what it seems like.

Then you have those that talk of reparations. As though that will solve ANYTHING for those affected. So what native Americans don't pay taxes, that isn't enough the US should give them BILLIONS. Screw it if it reaches the Trillions, They should have it. It call comes down to money. So what the US gives the most foreign aide around the world that doesn't matter the US is evil.

So what that Israel is being bombed from two fronts and has suffering huge losses from suicide bombers daily in the 90's that doesn't matter. They deserved it right? They deserved every death that they have gone through. They are the aggressor here. They are the ones that took Lebanese soldiers and Palestinian soldiers and are holding them hostage in return for a few thousand soldiers.

So what Israel gave 400+ prisoners for the bodies of 4 of its own. That doesn't matter. They should have give them all back. Then following that they shouldn't have stopped at Gaza they should have given back the entire country to Palestine. Its only fair.
Then spread across the globe to different parts of the planet.

Had in WW2 they put them in Argentina like was talked about it would have been bad as well.
Had they put them anywhere on the planet, it would have been wrong.
They should have had to settle on the same grounds where millions of their own where cooked alive in giant ovens. Ohh wait let me guess you lefties (excuse me SUPPER REVOLUTIONARY HYPOCRITES) don't think the holocaust happened. That is right.

Facts speak for themselves. Both sides are guilty in this case of being BRUTAL to each other. Killing of innocents. Israel kills some innocent people they get condemned. Palestinians (HAMAS or Hezbollah kill innocents, those Jews they deserved it. But Israel was NOT the aggressor with this current war. THAT IS A FACT that none in here have accepted. And the cycle continues.

Responses from world "leaders"

This is perhaps the best representation of what you are seeing from Europe.
Typical. Another reason why I just cant consider myself catholic was displayed by the Vatican infuriate. And you kind of expect this from Chirac but from Putin? The man with such a heavy hand on his own area? He himself is battling his own version of religious extremism and has seen the effects it first hand with chechnyan rebles.

Ohh the hypocrisy of it all.

Yeah Religion of Peace my ASS!

I am all for spanking a child but WOW. What in the world would warrant this?

Ahh yes you guess it, the religion of Peace is what they call it right. Yet this little girl apparently got her face smashed in by a Imam that saw the little girl ACCIDENTALLY walk on his prayer rug.

Courtesy of Debbie Schlussel.

Read story here

War erupts in the Middle East "AGAIN"

It seem almost futile to talk about peace in the middle east.
It seems to be pretty clear that neither side wants peace. At least that is that I get from it.
You have on one side the Palestinians voting in HAMAS as their new leadership, and on the other you have the Israelis which seem to show a lot of restraint but also have short fuses at times. Not to mention Islamic Jihad on one end and Hezbollah to the north.

Seems to be that Israel has EVERY right to protect itself.
After all the Orlando sentinel today FAILED to note in their report that the initial conflict with Lebanon started with 2 Israeli soldiers being captured and taking into Lebanon.

And Contrary to what the Cease Fire listed Hezbollah has OBVIOUSLY not disarmed at all and Lebanon has done little to actually facilitate the disarmament of the terrorist organization.

I liken the actions of Israel to what we did with Afghanistan. We went in and took out the Al-Queda hell hole that was in there and took out the govt that was harboring them as well.

Lets pray that this does not get any further escalation and Israel heeds the cease fire on Lebanon and that it doesn't spread into Syria. However I don't see any clear ending to the current "WAR" in the region.

Lord help us all.....

If these polls are correct then in goes back and feeds exactly what many have been saying.
That the reps are destroying the very values that make them better then the democrats.
It serviced them right for becoming so power hungry as the democrats have.
Now will I vote for a democrat?
Sure as hell would if they follow better principles then the republicans have shown in the last 8 years. I have seen nothing but bloated budges, pork spending and a list of corruption that makes Nixon smile.

The message needs to be sent to all REPUBLICANS that they need to go back to the REAGAN MODEL. Conservative on spending and GROW SOME BALLZ!

A pretty simple model that worked for 12 years and is now in jeopardy because Republicans couldn't control their power hungry egos.

Talk the Talk but dont Walk the Walk.

So today it seems that the US senate has let us down yet AGAIN.
Somehow I always knew that it was all political banter as usual in the capital.
Today they voted NOT to fund the very wall they voted to BUILD not 2 months ago.
Is it just me or do the Reps keep digging their own hole for the coming elections.
I dont know about the rest of you but I am starting to get VERY VERY Annoyed at all this constant bull**** that they keep feeding us.

We SO need a third party in this country that actually goes to the senate with what WE want in mind.

North Korea... Worthy of military action?

I am sure we have all seen the recent events with N.K.
They have been talking tough about shooting off missles that can hit alaska (barely).
However I am shocked to hear so many talk about going in there and blowing them up, or bombing their facilities. I must admit that at one point back when the Iraq war started I was one of those that said why them why not North Korea or Iran. I guess I may have pulled a Kerry on this one and flip flopped.

I have been looking at this whole pre-emptive strike thing that so many Americans seem to be adapting. Its as though they want to just go around being the worlds police. Now while on the surface the may seem like a good idea (get them before they get us) its really long term a horrible one. One that may have longer consequences and lead to more dire situations. Such as what we are seeing in Iran. Where Iran wants to have a bomb to be at an "equal" with the US. Its their solution that is the equivalent to Cold War tactics. If we both have enough bombs to blow each other up then you wont attack me pre-emptively.

Now with North Korea I feel that we may be making the same mistakes that we carelessly made going into Iraq. By taking Iraq as such a huge danger. When in fact it has turned out that Iraq was nothing more then a country barely hanging on in terms of military capability. While yes North Korea can shoot a big missle into the air. They still lack the knowledge to make it even work properly. Less than 1 minue into flight and the missles came crashing down in the Japan Sea.

Now call me crazy but that doesnt seem like a country that has everything all set up very well now does it?

So it beckons the question what do we do?
Do we follow more Clintonesk type of action where we bend to their will and give them nuclear power plants as long as they are "inspected" or do we continue on the current Bush path of having other regional nations join in the talks.

I must say that I choose the latter. While Russia and China arent exactly HELPING the situation since they are basically selling NK the missles we need to look at the alternatives.

We obviously cant go back to GIVING Kim Jong Il what he wants in terms of power etc. etc. without some consession from his end.
Lets face it the ones that hurt the most with economic sanctions has been proven time and time again to be the people. Which rarely actually uprise against the govt. Unless the govt is totally inept in the military aspect.
We can only I think stay on the course of pushing for regional leaders to make strong movement on NK.
The very last thing is to start bombing their facilities.
It will lead again I think down a path that will evetually have nations like China, Venezuela, Iran firing at us in pre-emption. Seeing us as a threat to them, they attack us.

What Kim Jon Il actually I think wants is for the US to intervine to give him as well as others like Chavez and the Iraninan president the fuel they need to lead an attack at the US.

Lets face it part of the reason we went into Iraq was because we KNEW they wouldnt put up much of a fight militarily. Not many in the world can hang with the US in that respect. We went in to send a message of some sort that we can do this and to establish a great military presence in the area.

Setting the stage that has always been a problem for the US.
To defend Israel as well as to have a foot hold on a airport that sorties can be carried out in neighboring countries that may eventually sway too far out of control. Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan come to mind.
Some may call this Impreialism. But that fails the test of past imperialistic countries where we arent rulling the people there. Just setting up a base there. No different then we have done in Germany and Japan. Which by the way is something that I think we should seriously look at re-working. We really dont need to have those bases there. That is for another day.

She has to be delusional

Today MSNBC's hardball shows an interview of Cindy Shehan actually saying she would much rather live under Hugo Chavez instead of GWB. Which in turn to me tells me she really doesnt want to be an american. Regardless of your thinking of what you think of Bush and his practices you cant go around saying I rather live somewhere else and still want to be called an american.

I would be more then happy to pay for a one way ticket for her.
And if more would like to join her I would think that there are plenty more that would be more then happy to accomidate them.

To call Hugo Chavez anything BUT a dictator is a JOKE!

Ohh the Irony of it all.....

I just found this too funny and just had to comment on it.
After years of Civil Rights Violations, aggression torwards his own people, repression and acting as a thug and abusing his power Castro and his goons have the cojones to actually sentence someone for "abuse of power"

You have got to be kidding me!

Read Here: Cuban Official gets 12-year Prison Term

Ingles por favor

Well as if the debate about what to do with the Illegal Immigration population or as I like to say, Pre-Citizens (thanks Pat Campbel) couldn't take another turn. Here comes the English is a must crowd.
I have got to admit I am right there with them.
I am a Hispanic American. I however was not born here.
Sure I have an advantage over some that have come here with how young I arrived to the land of milk and honey but that shouldnt be an excuse for anyone NOT to learn the language.
Take for example when you go to say your local Chinese Restaurant. Do you need to order your General TSO's Chicken with Porkfried rice in Mandarin? OF COURSE NOT. There people come here learn the language and sell their food.

Sure behind the counter they talk to each other in Mandarin but that doesnt remove the fact that they have someone there that learned English after not knowing a LICK of it back home.

One thing I will stand by is that you dont HAVE to know english perfectly to be successful in this country. Of course you will only reach a certain level however it should be mandetory for anyone that wants to be a citizen to at least speak SOME ENGLISH. I say this because my dear mother whom I love very very much doesnt know much english much. She can understand it very very well, she doesnt speak it very well but that is partly to her own fault because she hasnt ever worked somewhere where she needed to know english.

She has been here for well over 25 years and doesnt speak it very well. She can say some things but isnt perfect at it by no stretch. However she has been very successful in america, opening her own business and such. Of course there is only ohh so high on the social ladder she can reach because she cant read or speak english properly shes done most of what she has done through sheer determination and will. I applaud my mom for that. She is my rock.

Then on the flip side my father has learned english pretty well, can read it write it fairly well etc but of course with an accent. He learned it because he wanted to, because he didnt want to be stuck as a busboy in a restaurant forever or drive a cab and only know addresses in english. He is my other Rock. The man is my inspiration to what a real man is to be for a family.

Again I am a proponent of having it as a necessity to LEARN the english language if you are in america. Not perfectly but enough. Take some classes, practice it at home, something. I mean to be here 20-30 years and never speak it even a little is CRAZY. So what you always worked in an area where you only spoke your native toungue. LEARN ENGLISH.

I think it bothers me mostly because I see it as an insult. Its annoying to always having my culture being dumbed down to cater to us. I mean why the hell do we have to press 2 for spanish. How about saying everything just in english. The custom catering that is being done in businesses and in govt agencies is ridiculous. Its as if to say you guys that come from latin america just arent smart enough to learn english so we will just say it in spanish so we can get your money.

I cant be the only Hispanic that thinks this way.

Lets look at it this way. If you are going to just cater and want to make things "easier" for anyone then why not go the next step. Have 3 for French, 4 for German, 5 for Mandarin, 6 for Japanese, etc etc etc. Heck go the next step, have all your govt forms in every language on the planet, from Sweedish to Hebrew from Turkish to African dialects. Why not.

Dont stop there we need to make all signs on addresses translated, stop signs, yeild signs, right turn only signs, next exit 50 miles signs. While your at it make sure you convert miles to Kilometers and Gallons to Litters. I mean we need to make sure we cater to everyone right? Gotta make everyone comfortable. GEEEET THE HELL OUTA HERE!

Back, with a vengence.

Ok so its been a while since I posted.
No big deal, I'll start making my opinions more known on here then on web boards.
Hopefully someday I'll get as large as a Michelle Malkin or Bablu blogs.
Till then my humble beginings will be here.

Katrina....

Here we are more then 6 months after Katrina and something "SHOCKING" happens to come back into the media. Its funny how everything is so blown out of preportion. I was reading all this in the news today and came to the conclusion that if anything this video does show how the Admin was actually working on this and not just sitting back doing nothing about it. Actually being pro-active. Unlike how the media and liberals want to spin the events.

People seem to forget again and again and again that the levee systems didnt fail the day of the hurricane. In fact they failed in the afternoon the following day. There are pictures that do great at actually following the events from day 1 till day 5.

Below is the link:

Katrina Pictures

Also everyone in the liberal media and every damn liberal on the planet wants to point the finger only at this president. As though he is at fault for everything that has occured during Katrina.

And somehow everyone still thinks that it was cause the people in the area were black. GIVE ME A BREAK! There were videos on National Geographics of Coast Guard Helicopters being lowered down to roofs of peoples homes to save the people only to have to sit there for 15 minutes or more to plead with the people to let them get saved! OMFG!

Everyone seems to forget documents like this that somehow magically have disapeared from the New Orleans government website. Luckily I saved it anticipating it to magically disapear once Nagin got his Tech guys back into the city for damage control.

Hurricane Evacuation Plans

Its a PDF that details EXACTLY what the City of New Orleans should have been doing in preperation for the storm but didnt do any of it.

It also strikes me as annoying that New Orleans is the only city that gets vast amounts of coverage about this huricane but other states and cities arent even mentioned at all. Even places like Slidel that were literally destroyed and whiped off the map.

People need to wake the hell up and realize that yes the failures came from all forms of govt but the first responders to this and the ones that could have prevented so many being stranded in the city failed them miserably. Namely the City and State govts.

Dubai Taking over US ports?

Last week while every new agency was concerned about cheynne's hunting accident I happen to come across some actual NEWS!

WASHINGTON - The Bush administration has approved a deal in which a United Arab Emirates company would operate six major ports in the
United States.

A U.S. government panel has determined that the UAE firm, DP World, would not endanger national security.

DP World, based in Dubai, has offered $6.8 billion for the purchase of a British firm that operates the ports of Baltimore, Miami, New York, New Jersey, New Orleans and Philadelphia.

DP World intends to acquire the London-based Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation [P&O] Co. The sale was expected to be approved on Monday.

"The P&O directors have withdrawn their recommendation of the offer by PSA, which was announced on Jan. 26, 2006, and unanimously recommend that P&O Stockholders vote in favor of the revised proposals at the meetings, which are now scheduled to take place on Feb. 13," DP World said in a statement.

The company said the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States "thoroughly reviewed the potential transaction and concluded they had no objection." The committee includes representatives from the departments of Treasury, Defense, Justice, Commerce, State and Homeland Security.

The United Arab Emirates has been described as a leading military ally of the United States. In 2005, the UAE acquired the first 10 of 80 F-16E/F Block 60 multi-role fighters in a $6.4 billion purchase.

But officials said the UAE has not fully responded to repeated appeals from the Treasury Department to halt money-laundering activities exploited by Al Qaida and aligned groups. They said that for years Dubai served as a base for Al Qaida operatives, including those who destroyed the World Trade Center and a Pentagon wing in 2001.

"America's busiest ports are vital to our economy and to the international economy, and that is why they remain top terrorist targets," Sen. Charles Schumer, a New York Democrat, said. "Just as we would not outsource military operations or law enforcement duties, we should be very careful before we outsource such sensitive homeland security duties."

I found it very odd that the Bush Admin would do something as obviously stupid as this. And what I found even more surprising was that the main stream media had such a hard on to get Dick Cheynne hung for accidentally shooting his hunting partner that they glarred over this.

Now this weeks its major news NOT because of its news worthyness because if that was the case it would have been major news last week.

But rather because the media wants every chance it gets to stick it to this admin. Its amazing really.

I dont support this move here but from what I posted below from a wife of someone that works in the industry. It seems like there is more then meets the eye on this one. Apparently most of our ports are managed by outside corporations.

On my way into work, our local radio program on picked up again on this story.
The host Pat Cambell seems to be upset about it. Which by all means I am also.
BUt it dawned on me that we get our oil from Arab nations on a daily basis. Would a move to block the UAE from purchasing the managing rights to the ports be a sign to the muslim world that we dont want their money? Or we dont want them managing our companies in the US?

If that is the case then my god do we have a serious problem. We get most of our oil from the region and there are billions of arab dollars invested in the US. So its a bit hypocritical on our parts to deny them the ports which they bid for from another company.

I understand the whole homeland security thing. But if you really want to see a homeland security matter just think about what would happen in the inflames the muslim world just as the cartoons did. I mean they got pissed over a cartoon!

Another prespective...

My husband works in the international transportation industry. In fact, his boss at one time was Dave Sanborn, the man that the White House has appointed to a post within the Maritime Commission. Dave was most recently working for DWI in the Dominican Republic and has worked for them before. DWI is not "buying the American ports" as I see frequently misrepresented in articles about this in the MSM. American ports cannot be bought.

They are buying the port operating division of a London-based, British-owned Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co. That purchase will include current contracts that P&O ports has with the various ports listed in the stories. There are other port operation companies out there. The port in New York or any of the other ports mentioned could choose to contract with some other company if they do not want DWI being responsible for operating terminals in these ports. As we understand it the same employees who work for P&O currently will still be the employees that work there after the purchase goes through.

I don't think there are suddenly going to be Arabs running all over the ports. Anymore so than there already are. Actually because of regulations and unions, more and more of ocean shipping, port operations and terminal operations in America are being run by non-American companies. Just a heads up...as we read the stories the information is so fact challenged. My husband does think there is room for some clarification, but to have Chucky [Schumer] out there trying to make this into a "the Bush adminstration IS NOT concerned about port security" is just spin.

Lets see how this plays out now that it has hit the open media and get spun out of control. I cant wait.

Domestic Spying Program...

I found this interesting and very fascinating. The whole domestic spying thing that the Senate is trying to accuse the president of abusing.

Link below for more on the A.G opening speech.

Attorney General Opening Statement

I was actually drawn to listening to this at work today so I listened to it from NPR. (one of the few free outlets to get info still) But it was interesting how the dems seem to be the only ones really hammering this "illegal" thing on what he is doing. Yet he is trying to keep us safe.

What I found really interesting was a part I just heard that talks about the fact that if FISA or rather the courts find that the govt has spyed on this person wrongly or hasnt presented their case properly they can once the 72 hours is up notify the person being spyed on. I find that interesting for 2 reasons. Pro and Con. If you are not the person that should have been searched you have just been notified of it. But if you were a person that was part of a terrorist organization you are now alerted that you were under electronic surveillance and would most likely lead to either a complete change of any plans to either move forward immediatley? OR it will lead to them goin even deeper with their plans.

I dont know about this card the dems are trying play. It seems dangerous.

And those that follow that thinking and are all anti bush confuse me tremendously. You want the govt to protect you following 9/11 but when something is done that targets the ones that want to kill you it becomes a problem of epic propotions that need a senate hearing.

Yet when this was done in the past with say... Ehhh Clinton it was never even brought up as an issue.

Its like the Democrats in the senate want the terrorists to get a hand book on what the US Gov is doing to catch them and how to avoid it. That is the impression I get from this.

Change....

Why is change so difficult for some people?
Is it because of the unknown?
Or is that to general of a question?
Change can be anything, from leaping into a new job to accepting gay marriage.
From jumping into a new relationship to ending a freindship.

Why is change so hard for some people and for others so simple? Its is a lack of compassion or lack of knowledge? Lack of money or lack of faith? Interesting.

Change I guess is a double edged sword it can be good and it can be bad depending on the choices made. Most I would venture to say make changes for the better.

I am not a big person on new years resolutions, mostly because I find them useless. Why wait till a specific date to make a change, like the classics, stop smoking, and loose weigth, blah blah blah.

I wonder if I will go forward with the changes in my life I have been contemplating. Some I am fearful of doing others are really no brainers but am just I guess content with the way they are. Then there are others that I would love to do but I have come to the point where I just accept them as they are.

Which brings up another question. What is the point of change or wanting change if you have tried repeatedly to have something change but it stayed the same.

Goes kind of with the saming no matter how much things change they still remain the same.
